Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Maintenance Technician.
Maintenance Technician Job Details
Schedule: 3rd Shift: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 PM–5:30 AM. Overtime available Thursday, 7:00 PM–5:30 AM.
Pay Rate: $25.00–$28.00/hr

Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred, preferably in a distribution or fulfillment center environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and electrical systems up to 480V.
- Experience with conveyor systems, sortation systems, and material handling equipment.
- Experience using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and work orders.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and motor control drawings.
- Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience operating PIT equipment and working at heights preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, organization, and ability to work independently.
About the Maintenance Technician Role
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, automated storage and retrieval systems, and other equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair automated material handling equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues including sensors, motors, belts, rollers, stretch wrappers, and dock doors.
- Complete maintenance work orders using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Create, schedule, and complete maintenance tasks while maintaining accurate records.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and basic control programming issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics for motor control circuits.
- Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioning.
- Perform safety inspections while following OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Provide support and training to maintenance team members while maintaining a safe work environment.
