Pay: $17.00/hour
Position Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Cook Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook or in a commercial food service environment required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and recipe execution
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage practices
- Food Safety Certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
- Basic math skills for recipe measurements and portion control
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, production schedules, and quality standards
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and consistency of all food items
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage guidelines at all times
- Monitor food temperatures and maintain safe food handling practices
- Assist with ingredient preparation, food prep, and kitchen organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule
- Assist with additional food service and kitchen duties as assigned
