Forklift Operator Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3rd Shift
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location: Milford, OH

Forklift Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and client interview required.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Ability to operate a forklift throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to work at heights of approximately 30 feet while pulling orders or completing cycle counts.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately follow pick sheets, load sheets, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Dependable work habits and strong attendance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to cross-train in additional warehouse functions.
- Steel-toe footwear required.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
About the Forklift Operator Role
As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate a forklift to move, stage, load, and unload materials throughout the facility.
- Unload incoming shipments and verify received materials.
- Prepare and stage pallets for outbound shipments.
- Transport products between racks, shelves, staging areas, and vehicles.
- Select products according to pick sheets.
- Stack and store merchandise in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform cycle counts as assigned.
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate loading and unloading operations.
- Review incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Remove pallets and damaged products from returning trailers.
- Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain required equipment and inventory documentation.
- Follow all warehouse, safety, quality, and food-safety procedures.
- Cross-train in additional warehouse functions as needed.
