Maintenance Technician Job Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $35.00/hr, based on experience
Location: Florence, KY

Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Training in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical preferred.
Previous manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
General knowledge and experience with chemical and/or batch manufacturing preferred.
Experience with plant operations and equipment, including tanks, mixers, pumps, hoses, valves, and piping.
Forklift training and operating experience preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues.
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused and complete tasks.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to wear required safety equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toe boots.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

About the Maintenance Technician Role

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Maintain facility equipment and repair problems as they are identified.
Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and wiring.
Maintain and repair HVAC equipment and climate-control systems.
Repair broken or leaking plumbing fixtures and systems.
Perform carpentry and general building repairs.
Inspect the facility and identify potential safety hazards.
Complete repairs and maintenance to help prevent future equipment or facility issues.
Maintain and repair production equipment, tanks, mixers, pumps, hoses, valves, and piping.
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
Schedule and coordinate repairs as needed.
Follow established safety policies and encourage safe work practices.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Perform additional maintenance and facility duties as assigned.
