Physical Therapist Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license valid in Kentucky
- Current CPR certification
- Two to three years of relevant experience
- Outpatient physical therapy experience
- Strong patient-assessment and treatment-planning skills
- Experience providing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Effective communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient rehabilitation services according to physician orders and clinical standards.
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care.
- Perform therapeutic exercises and manual-therapy interventions.
- Provide mobility and functional training using adaptive equipment.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families regarding exercises, mobility, and continued care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the appropriate clinical software.
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
- Follow all patient-safety, infection-control, and facility procedures.
