Muncie, IN
Pay: $16.00/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire | 1st Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Food Service Worker Requirements
- Previous food service, cafeteria, kitchen, or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine food service tasks in kitchen, cafeteria, dining room, dish room, and special function areas
- Prepare and serve food according to established standards and procedures
- Maintain clean and organized food service areas
- Assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation duties
- Restock supplies and maintain proper inventory levels
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Support meal service operations and ensure a positive dining experience
- Perform additional food service duties as assigned
