Material Handler
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $15.00/hour
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 1st shift
Material Handler Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to inventory accuracy and organization
- Ability to identify, label, and store materials correctly
- Basic counting and recordkeeping skills
- Willingness to cross-train and work in other departments
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team
- Commitment to workplace-safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, identify, label, and organize materials and supplies.
- Maintain stock levels and keep inventory in assigned locations.
- Record the location and movement of inventory accurately.
- Verify material quantities and product information.
- Report shortages, damaged materials, and inventory discrepancies.
- Organize warehouse and material-storage areas.
- Assist with moving and staging materials as directed.
- Cross-train and support other departments based on operational needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all inventory-control and workplace-safety procedures.
- Perform additional material-handling and warehouse duties as assigned.
