Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Indianapolis, IN
Pay: $18.00/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire | 1st Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime, including extended weekdays and weekends, may be required
Sit-Down Forklift Operator Requirements
- Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift required
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, receiving, and inventory tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime as business demands require
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring inventory is handled accurately and efficiently
- Assist with order picking, packing, inbound receiving, and other warehouse operations
- Organize and stage inventory for shipping and storage
- Verify product quantities and maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support additional warehouse and distribution duties as assigned
