Heavy Highway Construction Surveyor
Schedule: Full-Time; Ability to work 5–6 days per week, 8–12 hours per day
Pay Rate: $20.00–$35.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced Heavy Highway Construction Surveyor to join a growing construction team. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a skilled survey professional who enjoys working in the field and has experience with construction layout, GPS technology, and surveying equipment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Perform layout staking for curbs, structures, drainage systems, utilities, basins, and pavement edges
- Calculate grades and elevations for construction projects
- Conduct existing condition and field surveys
- Gather as-built (record survey) information as needed
- Establish GPS and UTS control points and calibrations
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot GPS and robotic surveying equipment
- Support machine control systems and field operations
- Resolve technical surveying issues in the field
- Assist with training field personnel on GPS and survey equipment
- Collaborate closely with field and office teams to ensure project accuracy
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of construction layout staking experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction specifications
- Experience using GPS and robotic surveying technologies
- Strong understanding of surveying methods, procedures, and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work extended hours as project needs require
