Logistics Associate Job Details

Schedule: 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr

Location: Hamilton, OH

Logistics Associate Requirements/Qualifications

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend throughout the shift.
Comfortable performing repetitive motions and material-handling tasks.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment and outdoors on loading docks in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail when reviewing shipments and shipping documentation.
Ability to organize materials and maintain accurate shipment records.
Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with the Shipping/Receiving Group Leader.

About the Logistics Associate Role

As a Logistics Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Support the Shipping/Receiving Group Leader with daily logistics operations.
Unwrap incoming shipments and verify that received items match packing lists.
Ensure bills of lading, packing lists, and other required documents are properly attached to outgoing shipments.
Load and unload trucks.
Organize shipments and maintain accurate shipping records.
Match incoming materials with purchase orders.
Deliver received products to the appropriate areas.
Place orders for transport parts.
Communicate with EDI regarding truck shipments.
Work on outdoor loading docks when receiving or unloading deliveries.
Perform additional duties within the scope of the position as requested by management.
