Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Folder/Gluer Operator.

Folder/Gluer Operator Job Details
Schedule: 2nd Shift, typically 3:30 PM–11:00 PM; training on 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21.00–$26.00/hr, depending on experience, plus $1.00/hr shift differential when moved to 2nd Shift
Location: Blue Ash, OH

Folder/Gluer Operator Requirements/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience operating folding machines in a commercial printing environment.
  • Ability to operate folder and gluer machines.
  • Experience folding paper from 65# cover to 120# cover.
  • Ability to fold paper in multiple configurations using a hot melt glue unit.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills required; Pace experience is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain accurate production records and complete required forms and checklists.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to push and pull loaded pallet jacks and rolling carts.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, or in another department as business needs require.
  • Must complete a timed aptitude test.

About the Folder/Gluer Operator Role
As a Folder/Gluer Operator, your responsibilities will include:
  • Operate folder machines to produce high-quality printing and finishing jobs.
  • Set up and operate folder/gluer equipment according to job specifications.
  • Fold paper in multiple configurations using hot melt glue equipment.
  • Produce jobs according to customer requirements, quality standards, and production deadlines.
  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly maintenance on folding and gluing equipment.
  • Keep jobs and production areas clean and organized.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records and documentation.
  • Follow ISO quality procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Communicate job-specific information and concerns to manufacturing personnel and the next shift.
  • Assist with training new and temporary employees.
  • Attend department and company meetings as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
