Production Line Lead Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of USDA production leadership experience required
- Experience leading employees in a food production environment
- Knowledge of pork and beef processing operations preferred
- Proficient in yield management and production efficiency
- Basic computer skills required
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to enforce company policies and safety standards
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
About the Production Line Lead Role
As a Production Line Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily operations of the pork and beef production lines
- Setting and achieving daily production goals
- Monitoring raw material usage to ensure efficient production flow
- Ensuring employees properly scan product and follow inventory procedures
- Verifying employees are wearing and utilizing required PPE
- Communicating staffing needs and production concerns to management
- Working closely with peers and other departments to maintain production efficiency
- Monitoring yields and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Enforcing company policies and operational procedures
- Assisting with additional duties as assigned
