Machinist Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00–$26.00/hr

Machinist Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- Background check and drug screen required.
- 7–15 years of experience making parts and molds on manual/CNC lathes and mills.
- Experience operating manual and CNC lathes.
- Experience operating manual and CNC mills.
- Experience making molds and tooling from engineering drawings.
- Ability to read drawings and build parts to print.
- Experience with MIG welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Ability to read measuring instruments, including pi tape, tape measures, and micrometers.
- Basic math skills.
- Coaching and mentoring skills preferred.
- Strong team player with the ability to support cross-functional needs.
- Ability to communicate in oral and written English.
- Ability to work in a standing position and lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
About the Machinist Role
As a Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
- Machine parts, molds, and tooling using manual and CNC mills and lathes.
- Machine parts from detailed engineering drawings.
- Build molds and tooling to specified requirements.
- Operate manual and CNC lathes and mills.
- Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Read measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Support maintenance of lathes and equipment.
- Make repair parts for lathes.
- Troubleshoot and creatively solve machining problems.
- Ensure products are produced according to prints and manufacturing processes.
- Provide input into product design to support cost-effective manufacturing.
- Coach and mentor other team members as needed.
