Crown Staffing is hiring for an Operations / Customer Service Associate.
Operations / Customer Service Associate Job Details
Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00/hr (based on experience)
Location: Covington, KY
Schedule:
Location: Covington, KY
Schedule:
- Friday: 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Optional weekday hours may be available based on business needs
Operations / Customer Service Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Resume required.
- Interview required.
- Previous international freight forwarding experience required.
- Knowledge of air and ocean freight operations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Forklift safety certification required.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
About the Operations / Customer Service Associate Role
As an Operations / Customer Service Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate air and ocean export and import operations.
- Prepare bills of lading and supporting export documentation.
- Coordinate freight pickups with trucking companies.
- Receive freight and complete required safety checks.
- Label freight for export.
- Coordinate export shipments with carriers.
- Assist with import documentation and customs coordination.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and overseas partners.
- Provide customers with shipment and arrival information.
- Maintain customer files and shipment records.
- Assist with quotations, proposals, and sales support.
- Provide customer service and help resolve shipment concerns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
