Crown Staffing is hiring a CNC Programmer – Milling for a manufacturing company in the Northern Kentucky area!
CNC Programmer – Milling Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime available and rarely restricted)
Pay Rate: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience

Requirements of the CNC Programmer – Milling
- Previous CNC programming experience required
- Experience with 5-axis milling (2+3) machining
- Proficiency with Mastercam software
- Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, and machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer – Milling
- Create, test, and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis milling machines (2+3 configuration)
- Generate tool paths using Mastercam and other CAM software
- Support machine setup, including fixture placement, tooling selection, and offsets
- Run program simulations to verify accuracy and reduce collision risks
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs, tooling, and part specifications
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and machine operators to ensure production requirements and tolerances are met
- Continuously improve machining processes for efficiency and quality
