Job Description
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Erlanger, KY
Pay: $25–$29/hour
Pay: $25–$29/hour
Business Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule Requirement:
- Must be flexible to work 12-hour shifts if needed and must be available to work Saturdays
Job Summary:
The LPN provides direct pediatric patient care under the supervision of the RN Case Manager using a multidisciplinary and holistic care approach. Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, medication administration within scope, communication with families, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
The LPN provides direct pediatric patient care under the supervision of the RN Case Manager using a multidisciplinary and holistic care approach. Responsibilities include patient care, documentation, medication administration within scope, communication with families, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Primary Duties:
- Provide individualized patient care per treatment plans
- Communicate changes in patient condition to RN Case Manager
- Maintain accurate charting/documentation
- Support children’s physical, emotional, behavioral, and educational needs
- Assist with facility cleanliness and safety
- Supervise caregivers and nursing assistants as assigned
- Attend required trainings and in-services
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, crawling, and transfers
- Ability to lift/move up to 50–100 lbs with assistance
- Moderate physical activity in a pediatric care environment
Restrictions:
LPNs may not perform certain RN-level procedures including admissions/discharges, IV pump programming, medication titration, arterial line procedures, or IV push/bolus medication administration.
