Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Warehouse Lead.

Warehouse Lead Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–Finish
Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hr
Location: Walton, KY

Warehouse Lead Requirements/Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse or production experience required.
  • Strong leadership skills and understanding of warehouse and production operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles and conveyor equipment as applicable.
  • Ability to use RF handheld computer systems.
  • Ability to use spreadsheet, word processing, email, and internet applications.
  • Ability to use shrink-wrap/stretch-wrap equipment and box cutters.
  • Ability to recognize auditory warning signals from warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

About the Warehouse Lead Role
As a Warehouse Lead, your responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinate with supervisors to assist with daily warehouse activities.
  • Monitor receiving, order selection, and loading activities to maintain efficient product flow.
  • Monitor and prioritize order fulfillment.
  • Assist with investigating inventory and operational variances.
  • Assist with employee observations, reviews, and performance-related activities.
  • Provide recommendations regarding employee performance and workplace issues.
  • Assist with department administration and record keeping.
  • Maintain daily time and attendance information and other department records.
  • Assist with meetings, incentive tracking, and analyzing error ratios.
  • Train employees on proper job techniques and safety requirements.
  • Serve in an employee or supervisory capacity as appropriate.
  • Assist with resolving warehouse and production-floor issues, problems, and conflicts.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed to support operations.
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
