Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Glasgow, KY
Pay: $17.50/hour
Weekend Differential: Additional $1.00/hour
Pay: $17.50/hour

Available Shifts
- 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 6:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 3:00 PM–4:00 AM
- 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
CNA Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- Zero to three years of experience
- Ability to assist residents with personal-care and hygiene needs
- Ability to lift and reposition residents manually or with mechanical lifts
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate resident-care records
- Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
- Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
- Ability to follow infection-control, safety, and facility procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dental care, oral hygiene, hair care, and nail care.
- Observe residents for skin breakdown and report concerns to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions.
- Collect, label, and report sputum, urine, and stool specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Change and transport soiled or contaminated linens.
- Assist residents with dressing and undressing.
- Position bedfast residents safely and comfortably.
- Help residents prepare for activities and programs inside and outside the facility.
- Lift, transfer, and reposition residents manually or with mechanical lifts as needed.
- Record residents’ food and fluid intake.
- Document bowel movements and urine output.
- Report changes in resident condition to the appropriate nursing staff.
- Perform additional resident-care duties within the CNA’s scope of practice.
